A suspicious device has been discovered in the Queensborough neighborhood.

Shreveport Police Bomb Squad has been called in to check out a possible explosive at a home in the 2800 block of Edgar St.

Shortly after 11:30 a.m. investigators responded to a call that golf balls were landing in the parking lot of the fire station.

Officers later located the suspect, who was allegedly throwing the golf balls, at a house across from Fire Station 8.

Once they obtained a search warrant to look inside his home they found a suspicious explosive device.

Authorities say there were possible racial symbols on the golf balls.
