The Bossier Sheriff's Office has put together a video to honor World War II Veterans ahead of the 4th of July. The video released via the Sheriff's Office YouTube page features interviews with 6 of 8 WWII Veterans who now serve in the Sheriff's Posse.

Members of the Sheriff's Posse detail their experiences in the war in a series of one on one interviews. Lt. Bill Davis who conducted the interviews says the experience was humbling.

"We wanted to say thank you for not only your service to our Posse but also thank you for serving our country, particularly during World War 2," he says.

The Veteran's will be honored in a service at the Viking Drive Substation on July 4th.
