Agents with the Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force arrested a Bossier City couple today at their home in Legacy subdivision in north Bossier for manufacturing methamphetamine, mushrooms and possession of LSD, Ecstasy and marijuana, according to Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington.

Craig Grimsley, 31, and his wife, Jessica Grimsley, 28, of the 3200 block of Grand Lake Road in Bossier City, were each charged with:

  • Possession of Schedule I, Psilocybin (Mushrooms)

  • Manufacture of Schedule I, Psilocybin

  • Possession of Schedule II, Methamphetamine, with intent to distribute

  • Manufacture of Schedule II, Methamphetamine

  • Possession of Schedule I, LSD

  • Possession of Schedule I, MCMA (Ecstasy)

  • Possession of Schedule I, Marijuana

  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

  • Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor

  • Possession of CDS with a firearm

Craig initially was arrested around 2:30 a.m. Friday morning when a deputy approached him in his parked vehicle at the Legacy Subdivision clubhouse.  During that arrest, the deputy found a weapon, cash, and two glass vials with suspected Methamphetamine that field-tested positive for Meth.

The deputy also found drug paraphernalia consistent with the manufacturing of Meth.  Craig was charged with possession of Methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance and booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility just before 7 a.m. Friday.

About that same time, agents with the Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force, comprised of investigators with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office and Bossier City Police Department, executed a search warrant of the Grimsley’s residence.  They were joined by Benton Fire District #4, Bossier Parish EMS and Bossier Sheriff’s Office crime scene investigators.

Early this morning, Craig’s wife and young child were removed from the residence for their safety after deputies quickly determined there was evidence of Meth manufacturing in the house.  No other residences in the neighborhood needed to be evacuated.

During the search of the residence this morning, agents found numerous items used for manufacturing Methamphetamine and Psilocybin, along with LSD, Ecstasy, Marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

In addition, agents seized cash and 10 firearms, including pistols, shotguns and rifles.

Additional charges were levied against Craig Grimsley who had been booked earlier Friday, while Jessica Grimsley was subsequently arrested Friday afternoon and booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility.

Their child is in the custody of family members.  Additional charges are possible.
