Dean at LSU Health awarded for contributions to wound care & healing

Joe McCulloch, PhD PT, dean of the School of Allied Health Professions at LSU Health Shreveport, received the Evonne Fowler Founder’s Award April 24 at the Symposium of Advanced Wound Care and Wound Healing Society Meeting in Orlando for his significant contributions to the field.

 

Under McCulloch’s supervision, the School of Allied Health Professions started a wound management residency program in 2009. It was credentialed in August 2011 as the first post-graduate wound management residency in the country.
