Two people face charges after they allegedly break into a business outside of Natchitoches.

The burglary happened back on Jan. 20 at a farm shop in the 2500 block of LA Hwy 1 North near the Powhatan community.

Carolyn Hudson, 67, and Terry Hudson, 31, are accused of stealing welding leads, a cutting torch and 21-piece socket set valued at $655.

After following several leads investigators learned the items had been sold in the Natchitoches area.

Once detectives secured criminal warrants the pair was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.

On Tuesday Carolyn was charged with 2-counts of Illegal Possession of Stolen Things and 1-count of Theft of Goods.  She has been released on bond set by a District Court Judge.

On Wednesday Terry was charged with 1-count of Simple Burglary.  He was also arrested earlier this month for Theft and Criminal Trespassing.

Terry remains in the Natchitoches Detention Center awaiting bond.
