Home invasion suspect arrested after six weeks on the lam

A Bossier man was taken into custody today in connection with a March 16 home invasion in the 2500 block of Montgomery Lane.


Brandonlyn Campbell, 25, was wanted by the Bossier City Police Department and the United States Marshal’s Violent Offenders Task Force was arrested today by detectives with the Bossier City Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit.  


Campbell allegedly forced his way into a unit in the North Park Apartment complex that was occupied by an acquaintance. The suspect was armed with a firearm at the time and fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. No one was injured in the incident.


Campbell was taken into custody at a residence in the 900 block of Whittington Street and booked into the Bossier City Jail on a charge of home invasion in connection with the incident noted below.  In addition, Campbell was charged with domestic abuse battery and illegal use of a weapon in connection with two separate incidents.
