Police on the lookout for suspect in late night robbery

Authorities are trying to track down a man who robbed a gas station near Wal-Mart in Bossier City.

The  robbery happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday at Murphy Oil USA in the 2500 block of Airline Dr.

The clerk told officers a suspect armed with a handgun confronted her and demanded money. He fled on foot after getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 18 and 25 years of age, standing about 6 feet tall, weighing between 175-200 lbs.  He was wearing a hoodie with black and gray horizonal stripes and black sweat pants.
