A Shreveport man was taken into police custody Tuesday morning after a Caddo-Shreveport Crime Stoppers tip led to his arrest.
Just before 10:30 a.m., Shreveport Police Patrol Officers responded to a suspicious person call near the intersection of Linwood Avenue at Argyle Street. Information was presented to officers via a Crime Stoppers lead that wanted stabbing suspect, 36 year old Richard Mosley had been spotted in the vicinity. Upon a saturation of the area, officers were able to locate Mosley, who at the time of his arrest was observed on foot. Mosley was promptly taken into custody without incident. Mosley was sought in connection with the January 11, 1014 stabbing of his wife, 35 year old Nekedra Mosley.
Following Mosley’s arrest, he as booked into the Shreveport City Jail on the warrant charging him with a single count of attempted first degree murder. Bond in the matter has been set at $200,000.
