TTPD arrest two in Summerhill Road EZ Mart robbery

Texarkana Texas police have arrested two men in conjunction with a robbery at the EZ Mart in the 5100 block of Summerhill Road on Jan. 17.


Calvin Whaley, 33, and Terrance Davis, 41,  were arrested on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, after an investigation by TTPD detectives.


Officers responded to the Aggravated Robbery call around 3 a.m.Jan. 17, and were advised that two suspects entered the store, and one of them produced a handgun; both suspects pulled money from the register.


The suspects obtained an unknown amount of cash and also took cigarettes and lighters. Both fled on foot.


During the investigation, detectives were able to develop Whaley and  Davis as suspects.


Both men were arrested on charges of aggravated robbery.
