My Transformation Story

MY NAME IS LYNN COFIELD. I’M A 42 YEAR OLD SINGLE MOM, A NURSE AND A TRANSFORMED WOMAN. THIS IS MY STORY.

It was January 3, 2014. I was sick of myself. So tired of being tired. So tired of feeling hopeless. When I looked in the mirror, I no longer recognized the very overweight, sad face that looked back at me.

I hated me.

I felt like such a failure. Divorced. Stagnant career. A troubled child. A sense of always disappointing the people around me. So, I fed my stress and emotions with food. I was a big snacker! Popcorn, chips, crackers, cookies, and pizza! Lots of drive-thrus with fries, cokes, and other greasy foods. The worse I felt about myself, the more junk I ate! I had horrible gastric reflux and took medication for it daily. I was on antidepressants. I drank a lot of wine. No goals. No thoughts of life direction. I was literally just making it through the day.

But on January 3, 2014, I decided enough was enough. I wanted to live long enough to see my daughter graduate from high school! My Dad died from cancer at 58. In my mind, that meant I only had 17 years left! That life altering day, I read an article about what sugar was doing to our bodies on Facebook, and something clicked. I cleaned out my cabinets and refrigerator of all sugary foods. For accountability, I posted on Facebook that I was changing my nutrition habits. And so it began for me.

Since that day, I have lost 123 pounds. No surgeries, no medication. No special potions. I did it by learning how to eat the right way. I did it by learning how to lift weights. I began lifting weights simply because it burns more fat than just doing cardio at the gym. But what I discovered is every time I lifted that barbell, I became stronger mentally as much as physically! When I began lifting weights, the real transformation began! What started out as simply wanting to lose weight became a much greater journey of transformation and empowerment.

Today, I am a happy, healthy, empowered & completely transformed woman! I eat clean and lift heavy. My experience was so profound and life-changing that I HAD to share it with other women! I want women everywhere to know that THEY can do this too!! I developed Barbell Butterfly to empower women with the skills to become their OWN success story!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
- The Barbell Butterfly Beginner Program is 8 weeks.
- After completing the Beginner Program, Phase 2 is 16 weeks.

HOW MANY TIMES A WEEK WOULD I HAVE TO WORK OUT?

Our workout routines are increasingly challenging to help you meet your goals as quickly as possible. On average, you will be working out 3-5 days a week.

IS THIS A GROUP PROGRAM?

Yes, Barbell Butterfly is a team oriented program. The team helps to encourage and support you on your journey. The team is also a great source of accountability.

WHAT CAN I EAT ON THIS PROGRAM?

Barbell Butterfly teaches you how to eat healthy and how to shop for healthy foods. You can buy your food at mostly any local grocery store!

BARBELL BUTTERFLY IS A TEAM FOCUSED WEIGHT LOSS AND FITNESS PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES:

1. Membership in Barbell Butterfly Family
2. Personal goals, motivation and fitness coaching
3. Intensive nutrition education
4. Full body sculpting and weight lifting education with new written workout routine every 4 weeks
5. Group fun motivation rallies! We celebrate our wins, have great guest speakers and learn new information to help us SMASH our goals!
6. Regular Butterfly meetings and social events to keep you connected with your Butterfly Family
7. Support from a large network of women on the same mission
8. Closed social media groups available to only Barbell Butterfly Family members providing education recipes and instructional videos

Barbell Butterfly is a 24-week weight loss and fitness program broken down into 2 phases
Phase 1:
BARBELL BUTTERFLY BEGINNER
$270 plus a $50 deposit to hold your spot on a team.
*May be paid in 2 payments of $135. *First payment due at the first class.

Phase 2:
BARBELL BUTTERFLY MELTMODE
- 16 weeks
- Monthly team meetings
- New challenging weight training routine every 4 weeks
- Graduation package
-$500; available to make 4 monthly payments of $125

* Must complete phase 1 in order to do phase 2.
