SHREVEPORT, La. - UPDATE:
Three teens are facing burglary charges after they allegedly broke into C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport.
Early Wednesday morning 17-year-old Kenneth Morris and two juveniles were taken into custody and found to be in possession of the stolen merchandise as well as the tools used in the burglary.
Morris was booked into Shreveport City Jail and the two juveniles were booked into Caddo Parish Juvenile Detention Center.
Each teen was charged with one count of Simple Burglary and one count of resisting arrest.
Three teens are in custody after police say they broke into Byrd High School early Wednesday morning.
Shreveport Police say the break-in happened around 1:30 a.m.
Three people ran from the scene and two of them, both aged 17, were captured immediately after one suspect was bitten by a K-9 officer.
The bitten teen was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The third burglar, a 16-year-old, got away but was captured later in the morning.
Police say all stolen items have been recovered and they are not releasing the name of the teens at this time.
