Willie Myers lives on Vine street - one of the few Shreveport streets that still still without power.
The residents say SWEPCO says it should be soon.
"We were told the 28th is the latest date that they could get the electricity on." says Barbara White.
Earl Blount adds:
"They said some time Monday-- That's going to be a long time."
"It's not like we're in a foreign country. Get real. Where not in a foreign country. So it should not take five days to get some lights on.",
says Willie Myers.
SWEPCO tells the residents the power should be on sometime between now and Monday, and time the residents hope is sooner, rather than later.
