Voter ID law is one of the most controversial issues going into the election season and now it has another obstacle to overcome.

The ACLU has filed a lawsuit in state court looking to stop the Arkansas law.

An injunction has also been filed in hopes primary elections in may will go on without requiring photo ID to cast a ballot.

It's a joint lawsuit by the ACLU of Arkansas and the Arkansas Public Law Center.

The suit claims in part the new voter ID law violates the state's constitution.
