Caddo District Judge Ramona Emanuel Monday signed a court order instructing that Glenn Ford be “unconditionally released from the custody of the Louisiana Department of Corrections.”
In November 1984, a Caddo Parish Jury convicted Ford of the November 1983 first degree murder of Isadore Rozeman, a local jeweler and watchmaker.
Judge Emanuel overturned the verdict after Assistant Caddo District Attorney Dale Cox filed a Motion to Vacate Ford’s conviction and sentence was filed last week.
