Alcohol suspected in fatal head-on collision

Investigators believe alcohol may have played a role in a deadly car accident in North Caddo Parish.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. Monday on US 71 near the Louisiana- Arkansas border.

Authorities believe a 1997 Nissan Altima driven by Angie Buckilew, 25, of Ashdown, Arkansas, crossed the center line colliding with a FedEx truck. 

Buckilew was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the FedEx truck, 60-year-old Michael Lutz, of Benton, Arkansas, was not injured in the crash.
