A local camp kicks off and teaches business skills to future leaders.

‘Biz Camp’ is a 2 week event for kids ages 13 to 17.

This year’s camp was held at Centenary's campus.

Kids gain the skills they need to be successful in business or to start their own company.

Dr. Chris Martin with the Frost school of business says "Entrepreneurship is about finding opportunities and acting on opportunities and this program is designed to uh for that very purpose... To identify opportunities and to uh in existing firms or to start new firms."

Biz-camp was created by The Inner City Entrepreneur Institute (ICE) in 2001.
