Community matters to the Caddo Sheriff's Office.

Today they got a head start on fundraising for the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program.

They held a fish fry at the south substation in Shreveport.

People could stop by and grab a plate for only 8 dollars.

The angel tree program provides Christmas gifts for under privileged children.

Last year they were able to help about 100 kids.. This year their goal is to reach 150 to 200 kids.
