Police say the remains found in a wooded area of the MLK neighborhood belong to 32-year-old Natalie Rattler.

Rattler's decomposing body was discovered around 2 p.m. Wednesday near the 2200 block of Aline Ave.

Investigators were able to identify Rattler by her fingerprints.

An autopsy that was performed this morning shows she may have been murdered.

Detectives also say Rattler was reported missing back on Feb. 8.

The Caddo Parish Coroner's office will be working with the Shreveport Police Department in their investigation.

Anyone with any information concerning Rattler's death is urged to contact Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.
