It's a day that most in Desoto Parish will never forget: March 30, 2010.

Authorities say that night, Brian horn, a taxi driver, pretended to be a young girl while sending text messages to 12-year-old Justin Bloxom.

They say Horn was able to lure Bloxom to his taxi and kill him.

Bloxom's body was found in a wooded area off of Highway 171 in Stonewall.

Horn turned himself in.

While he had been twice convicted and served time as a sex offender, Horn plead not guilty to second degree murder.

Finally a solid trial date was set early this year.

Jurors were chosen and sequestered this week in East Baton Rouge Parish, then they were brought to Mansfield.

The six woman six man jury will have to hear gruesome details and evidence.

Then they'll make a decision of whether Horn is guilty or not guilty.

A decision that the Bloxom family was been waiting on.
