Car chase suspect connected to late night robbery

The driver involved in an early morning car chase, that involved three different agencies, was also involved in a late night robbery.

Bossier City police believe the suspect, Terry Leroy Smith (46), is connected with an armed robbery that occurred in Bossier City Sunday night.

That incident happened around 9:30pm.

Officers say a male armed with a handgun approached a man and woman sitting in a vehicle on the second level of the Boomtown Casino parking garage in the 300 block of Riverside Drive.

The suspect robbed the couple of an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a black Dodge Ram pickup.

The victims were not injured.
