While a Little River Co. Sheriff's deputy was recovering a body from an area lake, someone else was burglarizing his house.

The burlgary happened Wednesday at Chief Deputy Lee Sullivan's home in Ashdown.

Investigators say the suspect stole numerous items including uniform shirts, two boxes of ammunition, ID badges, gun
holsters and cash.

The sheriff's office fears that the person who took these items could try to impersonate a deputy.

Authorities say a threatening message was also left on Sullivan's bathroom mirror.

Anyone with information about this burglary is urged to contact Arkansas State Police at  870-777-4641.
