A local school leader wants to discontinue a multi-million dollar program. Tuesday night the Caddo Parish School Board discussed ending its contract with Ombudsman Educational Services.

The district is paying the company about $3 million a year. Ombudsman handles alternative educational programs for the school system.

Curtis Hooks believes the results aren't worth the cost. The school board member says 97% of the students in the program are currently low performing.

He's looking at other options available for alternative students.
