On Friday, Horseshoe celebrates Dare, Bossier City's first pool dayclub.

Many people are excited to have a new pool at the Resort and Casino.

However, there are a few benefits that it'll bring the area.

Not only will it add about 50 jobs, but those in charge tell NBC 6 News that they plan to showcase some of the area's talent.

Yes they will bring in big-name performers, but they'll also bring in local artists to show residents and tourists what great entertainment the ArkLaTex has.

Horseshoe first made the announcement in January that they were going to build this dayclub, and in February they broke ground.

About three months later, and $4.1 million it finished.

The pool is open all week to those only 21 years of age and up.

It'll open daily at 9am and close at sunset (around 6 or 7pm).

Both the public and hotel guests are welcome.

Monday through Thursday it will function as a pool, and then Friday through Sunday it'll turn into a dayclub.

Cost will start at $10, but will increase and decrease with different performers/djs.
