There's a class going on that may catch the eye of those who enjoy to fish.

The North Louisiana Fly Fishers Club (NLFFC) is hosting this workshop at Bass Pro on Thursday, August 21st.

The NLFFC has a proud history of education, philanthropy, friendship and fly fishing recreation.

Their goal is to give the public a better understanding of fly fishing, fly tying, and rod building.

Every third Thursday of the month they host a free workshop.

Today, beginners (or whoever wants to) can head over to Bass Pro to learn about fly tying.

All equipment is provided.

Regular club meetings are on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm at the Red River National Wildlife Refuge Education Center.

Monthly education workshops are held the third Thursday at 6pm at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World.

The club also hosts fly fishing outings to local and regional destinations.
