Grab your boarding pass and hop on the choo choo t

If you want to take a historical train ride then you have to jump aboard the locomotive in east Texas this weekend.

The 3rd annual Jefferson Train Days includes four destinations and just one boarding pass.  

You can tour the business rail car "Atalanta" that belonged to Jay Gould, see the Model Train Show at the Jefferson Transportation Center and ride a narrow-gauge train as you experience the Lonely West Traveling Gun Show. 

The adventure takes place between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, May 17 and from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, May 18 at the Jefferson Historical Society and Museum on 223 W. Austin St. 

Boarding passes are  $15 and kids under 6 are free.  For more information you can call (903) 665-2775.
