Hundreds of third graders got into the Christmas spirit to help decorate a local landmark.
The 26th Annual Greening of the State Exhibit Museum in Shreveport has become a big part of the season.  The students bring in their ornaments to decorate their class Christmas trees.  At the end of the day, judges will pick the most creative trees and award cash prizes to the winning classes.
"The museum smells wonderful.  We have 20 trees all around the circle of the museum.  They have a certain theme every year," said Cindy Grogan, LA State Exhibit Museum.
This year's theme celebrates the museum's 75th birthday.  All of the third graders also watched a holiday play,  and check out the museum.
