Community matters to a local 7-year-old.

She's collecting stuffed animals for children in need through bear share.

Bear share takes gently used stuffed animals and dry cleans them before taking them to children involved in accidents.

Julianna Gouthiere wanted to comfort children the same way someone helped her mom after a childhood accident.

Julianna Gouthiere said, “Well when my mom was 13 or 16 she had a motorcycle wreck....and a fireman gave her a doll and I said I wanted to do that."

This Tuesday Rotolo's in Shreveport will donate 10% of all sales to bear share.

You can drop off stuffed animals at George's Grill, Azalea cleaners, and Learning RX.
