Bossier deputies lock up Dallas man for human trafficking

BOSSIER CITY, La. - A Dallas man is sitting behind bars for human trafficking during an undercover prostitution operation in Bossier City.

Three female prostitutes, aged 18, 19 and 20, told undercover agents that they were being forced into prostitution by 24-year-old Marketh Bailey.

Bailey was charged with human trafficking, pandering, promoting prostitution, racketeering and money laundering.

On April 26, an 18-year-old female, who was 9 months pregnant, agreed to exchange sex for money from an undercover agent with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office at a local hotel.

The 18-year-old and the other two females wanted to leave, but when she tried one time, she says Bailey beat her.

All three females said that Bailey transported them to Bossier City from the Dallas area.

Agents seized over $300 from Bailey at the time of his arrest.

Bailey was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. His bond has been set at $50,000.
