The company issued a statement on Twitter that support teams are working to fix the situation that saw some customers missing hundreds, if not thousands of dollars from their accounts. The glitch double-charged Capital One customers on recent debit card transactions and now the bank is in damage control.
We apologize that some Customers are seeing duplicate debit card transactions & experiencing long phone hold times.
