BOSSIER CITY, La. - The race for the District 8 Representative seat isn’t over yet - two of the four candidates in the race will meet again next month for the final answer.
With all 33 precincts in the central and north Bossier district reporting, it appears there will be a runoff between Bossier businessmen947 Raymond Crews and Robbie Gatti will face off again on April 29,
Crews garnered 41 percent or 2,144 votes, while Gatti came in second with 37 percent or 1,947 votes; third runner-up Michael “Duke” Lowrie, received 16 percent or 806 votes, while political newcomer Patrick Herrington brought up the rear with six percent or 298 votes.
All four candidates are Republicans, as were four of the five candidates in the other two State House races tonight. The lone Democrat tied for second place in the 92nd District.
