LUFKIN, Texas - (KETK) Lufkin Police arrested a woman in the parking lot of a local grocery store where she was allegedly huffing canned air.
Lacey Jones, 25, was found huffing away in the backseat of a truck in the Brookshire’s parking lot, after being tipped off by Jones’ mother who was shopping inside the supermarket.
Officers were called to the scene just after 8 p.m. on New Year’s Day. Jones mother said her daughter was out there huffing the stuff, which is typically used for cleaning keyboards.
When officers made it to the scene, police said they found Jones in the back seat of a truck. Although she was holding the can, officers said she was belligerent and denied huffing it.
Following medical treatment, Jones was arrested and booked into the Angelina County Jail for public intoxication...by Michael Wesp...
