SHREVEPORT, La. - According to the American Heart Association, heart disease and stroke claim the lives of one in three women each year.
You can help change that by attending the "Go Red for Women" luncheon on Valentine's Day.
Watch the video to see why Laura Landman, Regional Director for the American Heart Association, and luncheon chairperson Waynette Ballengee say it's so important to take charge of your heart health.
"Go Red for Women" takes place from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Shreveport Convention Center on Wednesday February 14, 2018. The event includes health screenings, a fashion show and silent auction.
