Northern and Central Louisiana Interfaith met to discuss the state of Shreveport

Shreveport, La. - Leaders of the Northern and Central Louisiana Interfaith hosted a Delegate's Assembly at the Morning Star Baptist Church.

People from every faith and walk of life were invited to discuss the state of Shreveport and how they could work together to improve it.

Issues for the night included Industrial Tax Exemption, Medicaid expansion, public safety, education, and workforce development.

Small groups also met to discuss other topics of concern to present to the larger group.

Sheriff Steve Prator of Caddo Parish and Brian Crawford, Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Shreveport, spoke at the meeting and said they both look forward to working with the Northern and Central Louisiana Interfaith in the future.
