It was over before you knew it.
"This is a big, huge event to go through," said volunteer John Storey. "It's so great to see 40 or more balloons up in the air at one time."
Whether it was the balloons or the lemonade, the rally had something for everyone - no matter their age.
"The festival last night and over the weekend was just incredible," said Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission Vice President of Sports Marketing Kelly Wells. "Whether it was out chasing balloons around as they were flying in the competition in the mornings, or the evenings. Everybody, all shapes, sizes, colors, ages were out for the festival. You had it all."
Officials say the rally grossed over $750,000 to $1 million, a mark they reached last year.
