School offers counseling for students

Former teacher charged with video voyeurism

TEXARKANA, Ar - A Texarkana, Arkansas school is offering counseling services for its students after police say a former teacher admitted that he took video of boys in the restroom there.

Shane Jones faces charges in Texas and Arkansas for the alleged acts.  The charges in Texas stem from an alleged incident that happened at the mall.  Police say further investigation led to the charges in Arkansas.

School officials met with parents Monday night to talk about how the school can help moving forward.

TCS Head of School Thad Todd said, "When young people go through these kindof things, it causes them a lot of concern and a trust has been broken.  And this is where parents, they're the first line there, if they think their children need additional help or there's something that we can offer, that's what we're here for."

Jones was fired from the school after the first complaint was reported.  He is charged with voyeurism and video voyeurism in Arkansas, along with invasive visual recording in Texas.
