Search is underway for missing SW Arkansas man

MAGNOLIA, Ar. - KTVE - Authorities need your help locating a southwest Arkansas man who has been missing since the weekend.

Rodney Cherry, 51, was last seen around 4 p.m. Saturday at his home on County Rd. 511 in the Greers Chapel community.

Cherry was wearing camouflage pants, a gray-colored shirt, and an orange vest over a backpack.

Cherry's family has provided a link to the Missing Persons of Arkansas' Facebook page with his profile.

There are no known circumstances of his being missing.The searching agencies include the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Magnolia Police Department, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Arkansas State Police, and the Wade Correctional Center’s canine team from Homer, Louisiana.

Anyone with information about Cherry’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
