Shreveport fire department provided back up to Calumet for fire incident

Shreveport, La. - UPDATE:  At around 9pm tonight Shreveport Fire received several reports of an explosion at Calumet.  They arrived and provided back up to Calumets fire team.  A fire was extinguished however Mr. Reese did not go into detail about what was on fire.  The report of someone being injured turned out to be false.  It took firefighters just under an hour to put out the fire. 

The Shreveport Fire department has 20 units responding to a reported explosion and a possible person injured.  According to Clarence Reese with SFD they have not been able to confirm this information yet.
