SPD arrest three in multiple Home Depot heists

DIY project thwarted when video shows them walking out with supplies

SHREVEPORT, La. - Shreveport Police detectives have arrested a trio of alleged thieves following an investigation spanning nearly four months.

On February 1, 2018, police were informed that a two man and one woman team were believed to be responsible for the theft of multiple items from both Shreveport Home Depot Stores. 


The initial theft was thought to have occurred as early as October 2017 and the latest was on Jan. 31, of 2018. 


Survillance video enabled SPD investigators to identify all three of the suspects. Both Watsons and White were identified as having various roles in the thefts.


Detectives learned that White was already incarcerated in the Shreveport City Jail on unrelated charges.


The Watsons were located along a stretch of Monkhouse Drive in Shreveport and were taken into police custody. 


All were booked into the Shreveport City Jail.  


Ten separate theft cases have been connected to the troublesome trio totaling a loss of $11 in merchandise. Police are exploring the possibility of additional charges against the three.
