SHREVEPORT, La. - Shreveport Police Robbery Task Force Investigators have named a man believed responsible for a home invasion in north Shreveport.
A warrant has been sworn out for the arrest of Frederick D. Cooper, 32, who is the alleged suspect.
Just before 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 30, Shreveport Police Patrol Officers responded to the 900 block of Beauregard Drive on reports of a home invasion.
Officers contacted the two victims who stated that two male suspects, one armed with a handgun and one armed with a Taser, allegedly entered their home and demanded money.
One of the suspects struck the female victim in the head with a handgun and took her purse and a rifle then fled the residence.
Robbery Task Force Investigators responded to the scene and launched their investigation.
They were able to gather evidence that led them to identifying Cooper, whose last known address in the 3000 block of Judson Street as the alleged suspect.
Investigators obtained a warrant for Cooper’s arrest charging him with one count of Armed Robbery. Bond was set at $250,000.00.
