Suspects rob Shreveport carwash

SHREVEPORT - Two suspects made off with some cash after robbing a Shreveport carwash Sunday evening. 

It happened just after 6:00 pm at Zips Carwash on Kitty Lane.

Police say they were told that two suspects entered the business and forced the employees into the business office where they demanded the manager place an undisclosed amount of money into a backpack. Both suspects fled away from the business on foot west bound. There were no injuries reported.
 


Investigators with the Robbery Task Force responded to the scene and began the process of gathering information and recovering video evidence. Investigators described the suspects as: Suspect #1 was a black male 5’10”-5’11” in height, slim build, wearing a black Nike hoodie with the word “NIKE” on the front, black pants, blue Nike shoes with white stripe, green gloves, black bandana and armed with a silver and black semi-automatic handgun with an extended magazine. Suspect #2 was described as a black male 5’10”-5’11” in height, medium build, light skin complexion, wearing a black hoodie, black do-rag, black pants, black Nike shoes and black gloves and armed with black semi-automatic handgun.
