Teen behind bars in connection with East Texas double murder

MARSHALL, Texas - A teenager has been arrested on charges related to a capital murder case in East Texas.

Thomas Andrew Craig, 18, was taken into custody last week for allegedly hiding the firearm used in the
shooting deaths of 31-year-old Leon Bowman and 30-year-old Justin Williams.

On March 2 officers discovered the bodies of Williams and Bowman inside a duplex in the 1500 block of E. Fannin St. following a welfare check.

During the investigation, evidence led detectives to believe that 46-year-old Jesus Molina Delatorre killed Bowman and Williams.

After leaving the scene Delatorre went to Craig’s home and asked him to dispose of the gun.

Craig later revealed to authorities where he had hidden the weapon and was booked into the Harrison County Jail for Tampering with Evidence.

Delatorre is charged with Capital Murder and is still being sought by local and federal authorities.

Anyone with information on Delatorre's whereabouts is urged to call the Marshall Police Department at 903-935-4575 or the Marshall/Harrison County Crime Stoppers at 903-935-9969.
