Texarkana teen behind bars for robbery

TEXARKANA, Tx. - Police have arrested a teenager in connection with a robbery at an apartment complex in Texarkana, Texas.

The robbery happened back on Jan. 29 at the Pecan Ridge at Rosehill Apartments in the 2200 block of West 15th St.

The victim said three juvenile males entered his apartment unannounced and demanded money. 

One of the juveniles pointed a gun at the victim and then used it to strike him in the face when he told them that he had  no money. 

The juveniles then ran to the kitchen and took snacks and candy before running away.
 
Detectives were able to later identify the juvenile, who is currently being held at an area juvenile detention facility. 

The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
