SHREVEPORT, La. - Emergency crews are on the scene of an 18-wheeler on fire on I-20 at I-49.
Shreveport Police say a truck carrying a load of foam caught fire Wednesday around 4:30 a.m.
The driver told police the truck had an air-conditioning issue before catching fire. He was able to get out of the truck to call the Shreveport Fire Department. There are no reports of injuries.
Police say fire crews had a hard time getting water to the scene to extinguish the fire but were eventually able to reach the top of the truck to put the fire out.
