Shreveport - Warrior Spirit is like unlike any other movie.
"It's just now the time. It did take two years," said actor and writer Danny Zanelotti. "We don't have over congestions. We don't have the traffic. We don't have higher prices."
Shreveport's movie industry is struggling, according to some critics. But, the industry can start with locally-made movies.
"I love that we use local actors because these are people that you could see at a coffee shop or people you could see grocery shopping. People you connect with," said director Finch Nissen. "Each one of my cast members have a connection. Either they served in the armed forces or they have a direct relationship like a very close family member that's also served."
