MONROE, La. - KTVE - A Monroe woman is accused of macing an infant after an altercation with one of her tenants.
Ruthie Jackson was charged with aggravated battery and cruelty to juveniles.
On September 8, 2017, Monroe Police responded to 314 Bell Avenue of Monroe in reference to a disturbance.
Jackson advised, while at her rental property, she had a verbal argument which then turned into a physical altercation with one of her tenants.
Jackson said she was poked in the eye by her tenant. She said she then maced the tenant who was holding an infant of around 12 to 18 months old.
Jackson has been transported to the Ouachita Correctional Center. Her bond has not yet been set.
