A local rescue shelter is calling for the termination or resignation of the director of Caddo Parish Animal Services.
Reed Ebarb, the executive director of the Shreveport-Bossier Animal Rescue says Animal Services director Everett Harris has a history of unprofessional behavior.
Ebarb claims Harris was verbally abusive during a meeting earlier this week.
Ebarb also says he has sent a letter to the parish administrator and commissioners detailing the incident and asking them to remove Harris from his position.
"Mr. Harris has a long history of bullying, threatening, harassing, and outright being unwelcome to all volunteers and rescue partners in the shelter," says, Ebarb
The group also reports they have been denied requests to take dogs to rescue them from being euthanized.
