A local senior was one of two Louisiana students to graduate from the FBI's National Academy Youth Leadership Program.
Parkway student Anthony Visciotti was nominated by Sheriff Whittington, went through interviews and wrote an essay to attend the academy.
It focuses on learning to be a good leader, which Anthony says takes perseverance, “Just keep pushing yourself, that’s, I mean that could really be a motto for life. Just keep pushing yourself don't ever quit just cause you get down or something bad happens, just keep pushing yourself," said Anthony.
58 students, from ages 14 to 17, attended the 'Yellow Brick Road' program and they all took a brick home as a reminder of their accomplishment.
