LSU Health Shreveport has released data showing no disparities or discrimination against patients without insurance.
It's a story we've been following after University Health made the allegations about LSU Health, following an internal audit.
According to a report, released to NBC 6, it concluded that there was no double standard of care.
2/3 of patients, underinsured and insured, received care within 30 days.
77% of patients received care within 90-days.
Also according to their report in 84% of clinic sessions, faculty and residents provided care.
16% of patients were seen by a faculty member, where a resident may or may not be present.
This is a preliminary report only, they're still completing their investigation.
