"You get out of it what you put into it," said Avery Maness, student.
That’s one Of the many mantras of Minden High School.
"You make the way and people follow - just leading by example," said Maness.
Mantras that keep Minden students moving forward.
Principal Robin Tucker couldn't be prouder.
"Well, it’s not just overnight. Minden High has been here since 1897. So, the traditions, and the history of our school, and school spirit runs very deep… I have generations of school spirit... It’s very hard to explain to somebody that not from here. You have to be here and experience yourself," said Tucker.
Seniors Kaerington Wilson and Avery Maness are co-spirit leaders.
Wilson is a member of everything from the football team to the National Honor Society.
"I'm number nine in my classes but most people wouldn't think so because of the way I am…," said Wilson, student.
Good times or bad - the Crimson Tide rolls together.
"Everybody find their places. That's what unique about Minden - it all falls together," said Maness.
