If you want to be in a movie, now's your chance!

Crews are working on a new film, and extras are needed.

It's called, "Campin' Buddies", and focuses on a group of hillbillies in a camping competition.

While they're competing they run into a few comedic challenges along the way.

Some scenes were shot Friday morning, and one of the extras says it's a thrill.

"I was just wanting to try something different and fun and just wanted to get out and broaden the horizon a little bit," said Shreveport resident Amanda Oliver. "I've never been in a movie before and I thought I'd give it a try. I'm just hoping today goes great and God watches over us."

The film features Ray Stevens, Tom Lester, Don Most and Victoria Jackson.

It's also directed by Shreveport native, Tom Logan.

If you want to be apart of it, there are a few things you should know.

First, the location is at Fox Creek Farms, 12004 Ellerbe Road Shreveport, LA 71115 (park on Racetrack).

You will need to be there at 7am (Saturday) dressed in your best country/redneck costume (teeth are optional).

This includes white t-shirts, plaid, camo, jeans, overalls, tie-dye, etc.

You must also be at least 18 years of age.

Eat beforehand, because food will not be provided and plan for it to take a few hours.

Also you will not be paid, but the memory of this experience will last you a lifetime.
